• Session authentication (`tt_session`): httpOnly cookie set when you sign in so the server can recognise your session. Required for logged-in use.
• Government portal gate cookie: used only on the government sign-in path when configured, to protect that entry point.

These cookies are necessary for security and cannot be switched off while using authenticated features.

3. Functional storage

• Sidebar layout preference may be stored in local storage.
• A local copy of basic user profile data may be cached in local storage to improve load time; the authoritative record remains on the server.
• Cookie notice acknowledgement may be stored locally after you dismiss the banner.

4. Third-party content

Some pages embed third-party content (for example news feeds, maps, or video players). Those providers may set their own cookies if you interact with their widgets. Their policies apply to that processing.

5. Managing cookies
